Factory Assisted Startup

Start-up services from the Formtek-Maine Service Group

After equipment has been physically installed with plant utilities connected and all interconnecting wiring completed according to layout drawings and service diagrams furnished, a Formtek technician will be dispatched on a reasonable schedule, mutually agreed upon.

The technician will inspect the installation, perform initial startup adjustments, participate in and explain setup and operating procedures, advise on common maintenance and trouble-shooting techniques and observe to assure satisfactory operation. In order to assure an efficient and satisfying startup, all related equipment and tooling should be operational and appropriate material should be on hand. Signals and/or interfacing between the Formtek equipment and other related equipment not supplied by Formtek, are the responsibility of the user and should be pre-arranged by the user in consultation with the appropriate builder (s). The above service, including travel to/from the facility, is to be scheduled during normal working hours weekdays, Monday through Friday. Any travel/work requested on weekends or holidays will be arranged in advance and require a purchase order and will be invoiced at premium rate.
